I’ve been braiding hair for as long as I can remember. At the tender age of six was when I started to realize just how talented I could be at hair braiding and eventually my talents transitioned from my barbie dolls to actual women and men. Whatever I am feeling, I can always channel those emotions and use hair braiding as a creative outlet. I absolutely love it. Always have. Always will. However, I have always had immense love and passion for children so it only felt natural that I eventually focused on providing hair braiding for kids.
My Mission Is A Smile.
I am a licensed natural hair care specialist with over 10 years of experience doing braid styles but nothing gives me fulfillment more than seeing a huge smile on a child’s face after they get their hair done. Bows and Braids Salon’s mission is to give young girls and boys the confidence to love and embrace themselves. It’s not easy having self-confidence as a kid when you have to deal with things like bullies and low self-esteem. But what I hope to accomplish is having every kid look in the mirror and go, “Oh wow!
